Stanley Canyon had it's begining on the USAF Academy
On the Air Force Academy grounds are artificial lakes and reservoirs where my family and I would fish for those elusive trout. Although they were more interested in the crawdads, they always fished for trout. However, they learned there were trails and reservoirs "up" in the surrounding mountains. One reservoir was Stanley Canyon, located at the top of the Stanley Canyon Trail. My oldest heard about this reservoir from cadets, sponsored by my family, and asked about it. The name remained in our minds. Stanley Canyon was envisioned, annointed, and born in 2018.
Our veteran-led shop builds custom fly rods for aspiring, distinguished, and interested clients. With our sales profits, our community mission is to educate the next generation in our world of sport fishing.
